Sage Parts appoints Ewald Groenewald as V.P. of Business Development
Farmingdale, New York, February 18, 2004 – Sage Parts, the world’s leading supplier of replacement parts for aircraft ground support equipment (GSE), has announced the appointment of Ewald Groenewald as Vice President-Business Development. Mr. Groenewald will assume responsibility for expanding Sage’s business internationally as well as diversifying the business both in domestic markets and in international markets.

Prior to joining Sage Parts, Mr. Groenewald had been Worldwide Customer Service Manager for FMC Technologies, Inc. with responsibility for managing GSE aftermarket spare part sales, warranties, field service and technical publications. Mr. Groenewald’s career also includes the position of CEO for Apron Services, PTY, Ltd., the largest ground handling company in South Africa. Among his responsibilities at Sage Parts will be to grow the company’s business on an international level and also to broaden the services that Sage offers. “Sage Parts is the dominant supplier of GSE replacement parts in U.S. domestic markets,” said Mark Pollack, Sage President and CEO. “Ewald Groenewald will be instrumental in helping us extend our presence outside the United States while also spearheading our efforts to expand into complimentary services...further building upon our positioning as a comprehensive source for our customers’ GSE needs.”
