Farmingdale, New York, February 8, 2000 – SAGE Parts, an industry-leading supplier of replacement parts for aircraft ground support equipment (GSE), has announced the creation of a new company called "Sage Parts Plus." The newly formed company has acquired the assets of SAGE Parts and Parts Plus Logistics (PPL), also a leading GSE parts distributor. Sage Parts Plus will be managed by its shareholders, Mark Pollack and Michael Bloomfield.
For the GSE marketplace, the formation of the new company will mean more diversified, more extensive, and more readily- available inventories of replacement parts with faster order turnaround.
SAGE Parts' customer roster includes all major domestic and international airlines, regional airlines, freight carriers, ground handling companies, FBO's, GSE leasing companies, and equipment rebuilders. Conversely, PPL's primary business is as an integrated/single source supplier of GSE parts to American Airlines and United Airlines.
SAGE Parts currently distributes GSE parts worldwide from its New York warehouse and its sister facility in northern California, while PPL serves its customers via airport warehouse locations in Los Angeles (LAX), Chicago (ORD), Miami (MIA), Puerto Rico (SJU), Washington/Dulles (IAD), and New York (JFK and LGA)…many of which operate 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. Sage Parts Plus will now ship GSE parts to their customers from all of the above locations. Furthermore, future plans call for the opening of additional warehouses in strategic locations throughout the world.

Sage Parts Plus will offer ready-to-ship parts from the industries largest GSE parts inventory. What's more, Sage will further enhance its responsiveness to customers by utilizing vast parts databases that contain detailed information about every GSE part in the company's inventory. Through the databases, any part can be cross-referenced at a moment's notice, checked for availability and pricing, and the part can be sent on its way...in many cases the same day...to a customer's location via Sage's extensive delivery network.
Besides its vast line of GSE replacement parts, Sage Parts Plus will also distribute the complete line of Kofflin adapters and ducting products used to transfer preconditioned air (PCA) from ground service equipment to aircraft during pre-flight operations.
